Decorative Heart Hanging

Required Items:

2. Needle and thread
3. Cotton
4. Color string
5. Pearl and mesh
6. Cookie cutter (for better shape)

Procedure:

With a needle and thread start sewing the felt as per the design, leave some gap to turn over the stitched felt, so that we can stuff with cotton. Once stuffing is done close the gap. Valentine's day special Almond Cookies

Make these Almond cookies and impress you loved one. Very simple and easy recipe.
Ingredients:
11/2-cup all purpose flour
21/4 tsp baking powder
3/4 tsp salt
1/2-cup sugar
1/2-cup flaked almonds
1/2-cup butter
1/4 tsp vanilla essence
1/2 tsp red Icing color

Directions:
In a large bowl sift together flour, baking powder, salt, sugar. Add flaked almonds, vanilla essence and butter (Butter should be at room temperature). Incorporate all the ingredients well with spatula or use hand. For color combination divide the dough in half, add the Red Icing color in one half dough.
Preheat oven to 350 degree F.
Flatten the dough using the roller pin and roll out  dough to 1/4 inch thick. Cut into desired shape, I used two different size heart shape cookie cutters. Do the same with other half red color dough, place it on the top of the white dough and decorate with flaked almond. Now place it on greased baking sheet and bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until cookies are just begging to turn brown the edges. Let it sit for 10 minutes on the counter and then move to complete cooling on wire rack. Store in air tight container for up to 1 week.

Vanity Holders

Vanity holders out of Empty ribbon rolls

Step 1:

Select any  size and brand ribbon (I took 5/8in 18ft ribbon).

Step 2:
For this project we need Empty Ribbon Rolls. Attach the rolls as the image below, based on your project add more rolls. I used 4 rolls.

Step 3:

To decorate the empty ribbon roll, use any gift wrappers or duck tape. Apply glue to wrap the gift paper around the empty ribbon roll.

Step 4:

Wrap the duck tape around the top and tuck the tape inside making a clean wrap around the brim.

Step 5:

Glue the bottom of the roll, using any sheet to close the gap.

Step 6:

For more creative look, you can use any lace/ribbon and glue to the bottom of the roll.

Step 7:

Finally Empty ribbon roll turns into a Vanity holder. You can use these little ones to hold your vanity items like lip glosses/clips/hair bands etc.
